Asset and Maintenance Manager
Asset maintenance and tracking provides a real challenge to establishments with diverse geographical locations. AssetManager provides an easy to use, stand alone or integrated asset maintenance and tracking facility, utilising bar coding technology.
Geographical Location
Assets are identified by geographic location (building) and linked to a specific area (room) within the location. Assets within a specific location and area are identified by a user defined profile.
Assets may be tracked by using bar code labelling and radio frequency portable (wireless) handheld scanners.
The assets tree utilises drag and drop methodology to drag assets from one location to another. A faulty TV set would simply be dragged onto the maintenance store for maintenance or repair purposes./p>
Item Identification
Assets are identified for insurance and other purposes by unlimited number of visual images. Images may be captured by digital camera, video camera or scanner. The system supports the eight preferred industry standard graphic formats.
Staff Competency
Staff are linked to competencies (maintenance types) for asset maintenance purposes.
Maintenance Types
Maintenance types are user defined and include service interval and duration, as well as staff compliment required for the maintenance.
Service Providers
Third party service providers may be linked to maintenance types for asset maintenance purposes.
Maintenance Schedules
Asset maintenance planning is scheduled by linking the appropriate staff or sub-contractor to the item, and then scheduling the service date and period.
