The specialist nature of wellness treatments, and the products used therein, may have medical implications for patients. Service providers are required to take extra care in managing wellness treatments. SpaScheduler provides for the effective management of wellness treatments, the therapists that offer the treatments, and the products used therein.
Treatment and Therapist Database
Treatments are recorded in detail and linked to therapists with the required competencies, as well as product recipes which control product consumption.
Treatments are configured for:
- Duration and time status
- Flash-off periods
- Subsequent treatment limitations
Treatment Scheduling
SpaScheduler facilitates the scheduling of wellness treatments and procedures by allowing the user to link the required treatment, and the therapist specified by the client, to the appropriate timeslot. The system provides all the required guest, staff and locale schedules. The patient’s medical conditions link provides ample warning of potentially hazardous treatment scheduling.
The colour coded scheduling grid provides for:
- Daily treatment schedules per client, indeterminably into the future
- All historical schedules stored and accessible by mouse click
- The ability to sell Spa packages and pre-schedule treatments before arrival
- A counter to indicate number of treatments still available
- A staff to treatment link to ensure staff competency
- A system auditor to warn against potential over bookings or breech of scheduling rules
- Client to medical conditions link to avoid hazardous scheduling
Treatment billing
SpaScheduler provides a seamlessly integrated touch screen point of sale process for the billing of all treatments and wellness products purchased by the client.
Billing may take the form of a cash sale, an invoice to the appropriate guest folio or an invoice to an approved debtor account. Transactions are processed real time with immediate updating of the Debtors (AR), Stock (IN) and General Ledgers.
